The 8-digit serial number on the motor will let you know if the carbon brushes for models manufactured after 2017 are suitable for your micromotor.
In fact, the first two digits correspond to the year of manufacture of the micromotor (e.g.: 16325872: your micromotor was manufactured in 2016). Carbon brushes for models manufactured before 2017 have been permanently discontinued.
Please note, for 2017 micromotors, you must measure the height of your carbon brush:
- If the height is 1.2 cm, then your micromotor is compatible with the carbon brushes we sell.
- If the height is less than 1.2 cm, then the carbon brushes we sell are not compatible with your micromotor. The carbon brushes for your micromotor model have been permanently discontinued.
