There are 2 absolutely mandatory accessories in any vehicle:

• The fluorescent safety vest, with CE marking

It must be stored but kept within reach.

• The warning triangle, with an E27R marking

If the car is immobilized, the driver puts on his yellow vest, places the triangle at least 30 meters from the vehicle or obstacle to be signaled and turns on his hazard lights. If he does not take these precautions into account, he risks a fine of up to €750 even if traditionally the fixed fine of €135 is issued.
